UNITED WE STAND

My world has changed forever
I hear a million cries
My heart bleeds heavy tears
That cannot reach my eyes.

Our world has changed forever
A thousand heroes died
A lump stays in my throat
My tears can't fall, they've tried.

Our world has changed forever
We hear the victims cries
Our Nation struggles with it's fears
But the "Eagle", hurt, still flies.

This world has changed forever
An evil stalks it's Land
Our Nations not defeated
The "Stars and Stripes", still stand

And though we'll never be the same
We'll rise up high once more
Straighter, stronger, wiser,
More united than before........
