Tears
Yesterday's tears build a river,
Washing the inner soul of it's pain.
Cleansing the heart and that mind,
Like a gentle soft sweet spring rain.
When you feel you have cried your river,
And the throat aches from the tears shed.
And the mind is exhausted from the feelings
Or the heart feels it is now dead...
Raise your eyes to the skies and recall
How beautiful and amazing a full moon can be
See the stars shining gently on us all,
And remember the good friends that can be.
Call that special friend you know is there,
Awaiting to help you deal with your pain
The one who does not judge but always listens
So you will love one more day again,
And that wonderful feeling to never end.
